Missions. ............................................................................................ Now that you have come to this page let me from the oneset tell you that we have 3 categories of missions suited for different groups of people. We have the careers, college and youth missions pages. Take a look at the different pages and see if it suits what you are looking for.
Oft times, people have had the thoght of going on a mission trip to Africa. But they want to go only with someone who has experience with the continent, they want to be sure that the team the are traveling with knows what they are doing and where they are going. On this page we offer you the opportunity to decide whether you still want to go for the mission trip, whether you got what it takes, and when whether you can make a difference by being a part of the team The people we take on our mission trips to East Africa are God fearing people, ranging from all backgrounds, doctors, teachers, construction workers, engineers, social workers, nurses,students, youth leaders, pastors, performing artists and just about anyone who has a passion for Christ and a passion for making a difference in another persons life.
| What we do on our mission trips -we visit children's homes for the abondoned children -hospitals visits -College and university ministries -we go to new church plants and be an encouragement to them -help in constructing classroom blocks at elementary and high schools - distribute donated items such as clothing, shoes,books and even computers to the targeted recipients -Volunteer to teach at the local elementary and high schools -offer free medical treatment to the poor who can't afford to go to hospitals - We do evangelism trips, testifying of God's goodness to the people and sharing Christ with them,we do worship and drama with and for the people -We do take time to visit the lovely sites in East Africa too. We go to see lions,visit the jungles, trekk the mountains to look at gorrilas -We get time to visit with the local churches and have a great time with them too
| How we do it -On our mission trips, we liase with the local churches and mission groups so that we don't look like some strangers coming to shovl christ down other people's throats. -We involve groups that are involved in activities ranging from church to christian radio and television stations, to christian performing arts. -For our college and university ministries, we work hand in hand with chrsitian college students and the different institutions and be a part of their activities during our missiins time. This is always the best time, seeing how deep the college students in Africa are into Christ. If you are a college student, I encourage you to come and be a part of this. -When necessary we involve government officials as well if it is a big scale missions trip that involves alot of people and security. FYI. Alot of the leadership of the governments in East Africa is christian, so it is easy working with them and involving them in our activities.
